To get to Viseu, you can travel to a nearby city such as a Porto or Libson and then use the network of buses or trains that connects the different municipalities in Portugal. To get around Viseu, you can go either travel by car or use the public transport offered by the city.

In Viseu’s historical centre, there is an extensive list of monuments and tourist attractions for the visitor. These include the Porta do Soar, the Muralha Romana and the Viseu Planetarium. If you want to comfortably visit the city, we recommend using the Saba car park located on Rua Nova do Hospital Street, open 24 hours a day and located close to the most important monuments in Viseu.
